@OP really needed to specify humans were laid off
I can confirm that Citi did involuntary layoffs at Hagerstown MD Remote employees It wasn't based on seniority or stats. They would not give me answers as to why I was let go. I was one of the top persons crushing the numbers. Im guessing its because i'm younger than people approaching retirement. I also wonder if they looked at our chats to determine which employees were planning to retire in the near future then keep those employees. The morale of this story is watch what you say in chat because the artificial intelligence is listening and taking notes. Attrition saves them money
@128 once let go. You have to wait for them to contact you.
I use homing pigeons, I have had success with this method
Any tips how to make contact with HR after the send divorce papers?
Hey no worries can you give us a numbers check on Friday? I like my sugar with coffee and cream
Wow - I’m so sorry to hear this, OP. Last I checked in early summer, there were about 650 of us left from Hag Market. I guess that number will continue to decrease. 😔
There are some real insensitive pipple on this board! Must be the visas that can just go back to the village. This sux for us real americans!
Tell that to my mortgage and my family.
Lucky ba----ds!
Don't know how many are left but when the building closed there were 1100 of us left. last i heard 800 are still working remotely. last week several were let go from fraud who worked in the Hagerstown MD area. My job has changed from investigating fraud to now flagging the AI work as correct or why its wrong and its learning fast. It won't be long before my job is eliminated due to artificial intelligence
I didn't even know Hagerstown still had that many employees since that site closed some time ago.
