It feels like every solution is just let people go. There are so many smarter ways to boost profits without wrecking the team or morale. Leadership keeps doubling down on layoffs instead of thinking creatively, which just ends up proving their overall incompetence.

Who needs strategy? Haha it’s just a buzzword at Humana that leadership doesn’t seem to know or want. So their answer is lets just keep doing our own thing and see where this takes us as we spiral down the drain.
When leaders have no clue how to turn the company around, layoff is the answer for every issue.
@bp You are stuck on DEI—which has zero to do with why Humana is outsourcing and doing RIFs. Get your head out of your own bias. Think critically.
Most companies have gotten rid of DEI...Humana still pours millions in it. Such a waste of money when jobs are being lost.
