I understand anything on MS teams can be searched by management but how long before a message is archived/ deleted and can't be seen on the employee end? ie "We've deleted older messages due to your org's retention policy"
It seems like I'm missing messages in my MS teams.
They never go away, you just cant see them
Why not look up information classification retention schedules?
We only have to take training on it every year.
I believe it started at 15 days but now seems to go back about 45 days. I looked at 3 common chats I'm on and nothing goes beyond 7/30 today which is 9/15 (~45 days).
I believe it's 3 weeks in the teams chat. I don't know if we can access ones older than that, but surely they are stored for some period of time.
