Speciality Market exit by 2027

Can someone confirm if that’s true. I have been hearing that Specialty Markets will start to exit starting 2026 with the aim of completely be operating out of only hubs by 2027, with some exceptions for management to remain remote if they are located at a specialty market.

@ae I'm assuming you posted this as sarcasm, but if you do work in NYC and aren't client facing, be prepared as we get closer to 2027.

Since every LOB has their own core / speciality hubs, which markets are we actually talking about here? What are some of the larger ones that are specialty only, with no LOB considering them core? Raleigh? SLC maybe?

Specialty markets were set up for some business to hire specific roles in a market. They were picked to allow for niche talent to be sourced because it wasn't as readily available in the larger core cities. For this post to make sense it would mean that those specialty skills were suddenly available everywhere.
