Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

COMMSCOPE playbook

Yeah, CommScope’s shuffling Temps to MNOP roles and dumping MNOPs into floater limbo reeks of a cheap purge to slash higher wages before Amphenol swoops in at $16/hr entry pay. It’s the same playbook as shipping IT jobs to India—sc--wing loyal US workers for offshore savings and fat exec bonuses.

My current 1G internet is way over my demands. To be honest, customers will not pay for extra Docsis 4 or 20 in speedwise. It is a marketing and stock purpose as we can notice these past few weeks. What if the AMP deal not go thru too?!

Man, I feel you—CommScope’s stock is riding high at ~$16.45, thanks to ANS’s DOCSIS 4.0 success, and you’re stuck on the sidelines after that 2023 layoff. It’s salt in the wound when the company’s ki-ling it, but regular employees like you often get sc--wed regardless of stock prices. Poor or no raises/bonuses. The senior leadership team probably cashes in on stock options, while the “peasants” see no raises or equity—same old corporate BS.

You’re not missing much employees are still treated like 17th-century peasants

I see Commscope stock prices are back up to $16-18 a share (from a low of under a dollar a share back in 2023-2024). I've also read that Commscope's comeback is a result of the performance of the ANS division (formerly ARRIS) with their rollout of DOCSIS 4.0 equipment (CMTS, etc).

So... Being a laid off employee from the ANS division (laid off mid 2023)... Can I have my sh**ty job back?
