If you are on a legacy team under Kevin Lau, don’t be surprised if you are out of work in Q1.
He will be scaling back on those teams significantly, its being discussed.
Over 50 and white will be at the top of the list.

You are hereby commanded to make room for your fellow countrymen and women. This is your national and patriotic duty. I heard Bernie Sanders give a speech on this topic and I could not agree with him more.
Thank fu--ing God. The pain these people make you go through for a very simple request. I guess they've just been trying to keep or prove they have value?
@yq I retired to make room for (one) more Indian.
@qb No. Retire. Make room for other people.
@sg I know plenty of over 50 folks who are skilled in turning up a DS0 AND are skilled in full stack engineering. It's called staying current in your job and taking training.
The issue is the over 50 crowd, many of whom have 20 years plus experience and are current with the technology are laid off BECAUSE they have 20 years experience and, allegedly, make a higher salary. However, T-Mobile typically skrews the longer term employee by giving a 2% raise each year while giving the rookie a multiple thousand dollar signing bonus and a higher base salary than the older employee.
@OP, are the ”over 50 and white” skilled in using a SAGE 930A to test and turn up DS0 voice circuits or skilled in innovative full-stack engineering?
lu or lau?
are india mo fo safe. Espically if the us born are anti anti ugly. The will like do what they must to the ugly. hee .hee. hee
Are 70+ years of age employees safe?
@OP and your source is what? unless you're a director, you're not in those meetings.
@dk Lau is IT coders, Lu is Infrastructure
@hh Since you apparently are unable to do your own research...

Kevin serves as the Vice President of Web and Mobile Engineering at T-Mobile, leading teams that develop and operate digital platforms for T-Mobile customers.
VP's and SVP's don't show on the Public Facing exec pages.
Type his name into Outlook and right click. You’ll see who he is and who his teams are.
You can also do this in Teams.
I can’t find this person in the public facing executive leadership team.
Who is Kevin?

I haven't been at T-Mobile for years but more in-the-know that his last name is Lu not Lau.
Will they also be kicking him and his accomplices to the curb too? They've squandered so many resources with their mismanagement and lack of leadership.
@OP Scaling back the teams and hiring contractors based overseas. The "New" SprinTMobile.
Wrong. Nestor, Cody, or Marcus won’t let that happen. Move on, clown.
