So many people are already leaving voluntarily, yet they keep talking about cuts. It’s like they don’t see the bigger picture and are just determined to make things worse. The morale has been terrible for a while, and it doesn't help that the company is punishing the people who stayed instead of fixing the issues.

To invest in AI
It’s to off shore the work to cut labor costs which will boost their bonuses as the executives are tied to stock price nor performance as our avip was. They also get tax cuts for offshoring work too.
However as this administration cracks down in work visas there is new legislation introduced by a representative from Ohio to start fining and taking away the tax credit for every company that outsources their labor at the expense of US workers. They feel it’s the logical next legislation to bring jobs back to the US. Met is about to get sc--wed if/when it passes.
Add in that AI is a scam and won’t replace workers as only the AI companies are predicting and they will have a labor shortage. I’d anticipate a quick migration of leaders before that bill gets signed into law so they can be ahead of it and get other high paying jobs elsewhere while the leave the company sc--wed.
I can’t wait lol
The cuts are needed to pay for the unnecessary high priced AVP, VP and SVP duplicative roles. So many are truly not needed but let's fire the low paid people actually doing the work instead. Too much ego leading the organization into the ground. Really unfortunate what this legacy company has turned into. The Board and Shareholders should all be ashamed on themselves.
