MJH was unqualified for the job, but was promoted to it because of quota/ DEI. That's it. (similar to Renee James, who also cost Intel billions - with nothing to show for it).
Before you go on a rant about me being anti- female/ DEI - consider the brilliant Lisa Su of AMD, and what she has done for that company - also go look at her Bio - she has a strong technical/ engineering background - not just a pretty face like MJH.

She is not a nice person... She was a monster to work with. Good riddance.

Maybe he was upset having someone who has degraded performance 12 weeks a year as a leader. And then spends the rest of the time talking about work instead of actually doing anything.

@be it does tell me something. When you leave dei requirements out of the equation the best qualified candidates get selected.

@b9 good, are you saying gender should be a consideration in qualifications? Hire the best qualified candidate regardless of gender. Leave the dei requirements out of the decision.

Not to worry MJH. Executives who do a terrible job have a way of finding another company to run into the ground fairly quickly.

She gave the green light to gen 13 and 14. Defective out of the box and/or melting within months of standard use. All while making millions. This person unquestionably su-ks at her job. The only question is why did it take so long to fire her and why did she walk away with a bonus? This as a more about Intel than MJH

I worked with her in the past. Smart intuitive person, however probably not the leader we need during this time. Good for LBT…..he needs to bring in some top talent to lead the comeback. Now needs a new CFO and head of HR.

Read the quote from the article below. She made more than $1 million a month in 2024 while the company was failing miserably and she was granted a GOLDEN PARACHUTE last February which she invoked with this resignation. Good riddance. She clearly didn't bring that kind of value to the company.

"Intel valued Holthaus’ 2024 compensation at $12.6 million. The company’s executive severance plan provides for the payout of top leaders’ bonuses and some unvested stock grants based on the portion of the vesting period they have already worked.

An employment agreement Holthaus signed in February made her eligible for severance if she resigned for “good reason,” a provision she invoked in her resignation this week. The conditions that trigger that clause include “a material reduction in your title, duties, responsibilities, or authority,” according to the February agreement. "
