@dy I can't say too much. We've all signed agreements to get our 'go away' money. I can say that they're all long serving employees that I know of. Senior people. Probably well paid people after all these years of service. Exit dollars are capped at 6 months salary and they've been that way for decades in Australia. Everybody I know of was a very high performer. Make of that what you will.
Obviously, unvested RSUs will be clawed back, but that's well known and in the agreement.
@a4 sorry to hear :(
can you share what org/product/role in Australia?
Are these redundancies or PIP/performance management or other?
How are they handling notice periods/gardening leave/upcoming RSU vesting/private health etc?
It feels selfish ask so bluntly when you're living it already, sorry :( all the information about severance etc. being shared is for US, so I'm hoping someone to share.
sep09, 1pm UTC: 168705 (+33 new people were onboarded?)
all additions in large batches I manage to catch happen before 1pm UTC - is it India hiring replacing laid off during September?
Australian layoffs are already happening. I know of a few people, including myself, who've been let go in the last week or so.
