"roles open the week of September 8th." Really? Nothing today, apparently...not like they didn't have months to figure this out. Perhaps there will be scarce roles and hundreds of demoted and ISP'ed people picking over them.

This firm thrives on maintaining perception and fairy tales. Agree on ELT not being capable. Take KJ and others. What is their track record other than what is written? No tangible outcomes. Yet, they are at the helm making decisions. Other than what HBR articles they read the night before what other experiences do they have? This isn’t regurgitating homework.
That was never going to happen. They’ve known how hard this would backfire and like the narcissistic firm it is, they said what everyone wanted to hear. In reality, this firm is not led by Penny or her board of protectors (I mean “directors”) or all of the under-qualified members of ELT (can anyone supply Tina Hrevus’ actual qualifications that aren’t completely made up (because in reality she’s Penny’s minion and can’t write or speak grammatically correct and is a total airhead).
They were d-mb enough to say it, but I know they with unwavering certainty that the consultant firms, our PR dept and Penny and ELT are reading these forums and comments. Now how inept would the firm look to publicly announce their first ever layoff (and stupidly play semantics with the number they reported - my friend at the post is gathering intel and said between late 2024 and now, beer been near 2,000 layoffs (that includes GPs who were forced out, jobs moving over seats for “Operations Transformation” and the 259 they publicly reported. So deceiving and more to come.
@am yeah and gives them reason to deny anyone demoted because its no longer a horizontal move, it would be a move upward
@OP originally they said 9/15 in order to give time to people who had got an ISP, I call BS, they want our new leaders to know we are applying vs our old leaders that would likely cheer us on. Amplify last week said 9/8 new roles would hit the internal site, nothing showed as of EOD in central time. 8 total roles for HQ!!! Also, a lot of people with an ISP were allegedly walked out 2 weeks ago and lost system access, so those who lost access couldn’t apply internally anyway. This is all a joke!
I think the roles will come out after September 15th. This gives the firm a chance to update the associate directory.
