Anyone else expecting layoffs after the India office is made? I’m sure they want to hire them more since it’s cheaper.

The plan is to reduce the number of on-shore contractors, and hire people in India instead. It will be about half the cost, and you will actually boost morale.
It’s another STS disaster that will end up ki-ling culture even more, as well as tech delivery. Doubt any savings will come, we already fund offshore, but have no idea the cost of overhead to keep and manage all this new talent. STS upper leaders need to be replaced in this business mgmt team.
If you’re being tasked with automation now, you’ll likely be canned in the near future. The workflows that you created will be maintained by someone in India at a much lower cost.
Yes the GCC will reduce onshore head count. It is a main driver.
