Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

Voice Survey - Be Brutal and Honest.

Those of us still hanging on to the sinking ledge with the few fingers we have left, the Voice Survey is available. Please be very brutal about this company but of course be honest. Don't make it up. They really need to hear how terrible moral is. Most of the new hires will likely have a false sense of positivity at Nielsen, but those of us here for more than a year know the truth. Last time we did the Voice Survey, many of the results were higher than the company deserved, so they didn't panic. Now they need to be.

Last years results were laughable

Q: I believe the changes taking place at Nielsen are necessary.
A: 56%

Q: I have confidence in the future of Nielsen.
A: 60%

Q: I feel equipped to adapt to organizational changes.
A: 67%

The fact that they said “These areas are where we have room for improvement” and then went on to layoff a good portion of their US employees and say fu-k yall, hilarioussssssss

The survey is just a standard, perfunctory excercise designed to portray to employees that management actually has an interest in their opinions. All companies do something similar, yet it changes NOTHING. Nielen is very aware of how demoralized employees are (and have been)….Anyone who believes that ratings and comments on some survey will reach sympathetic or concerned ears—much less prompt any kind of consideration or change— is sadly delusional. This train wreck will not be changing course….

For those of you still riding the ship to the bottom of the sea floor, please be excessively detailed in your remarks for low scores. Quite smart of them to hold off until one of the final groups of US PRS teams were let go; I know I’d have had novels of feedback of them to pretend to read and give a damn about

Cost cutting has gone to a higher level. Employees from Poland are currently being replaced by those from India. And this is happening now.

@OP Report Nielsen Company to the new administration. It is not acceptable that our jobs are going to India, Polland and Mexico

They are just interested in getting info about gcc … a low score outside is expected and not a surprise or usefull.

The best action is answering the questions as if you're the happiest employee on earth. If the survey's results tell the leadershit that people are happy they may increase the severance. If the results tell leadershit everyone is unhappy they know their attrition tactics are working.

@OP Sorry but I had to laugh… you think this is for real? The scores will be skewed by the large and new Indian workers population drowning out any real data. Plus the people processing the results have a vested interest in making things look good. Best ever bro!

They won’t care what the results say. They only care about cutting costs so that the CEO and others at the top can get their millions!

They could care less about anybody else. They will eventually replace all US employees with foreign cheap workers.
