@OP TACO just helped new H1B visa employees get paid much higher (let's say double) what you make with his recent policy. Big corp are NOT going to slow down on getting H1B, OPT, O-1, etc. visa employees. They will pay whatever salary they need to pay to get these workers in USA. Why? Because they know, without them, they can't compete with each other and grow shareholder value. These big corps are not over $500 billion to Trillions of dollars in capital market worth. If they have to pay $200K to $300K for an H1B employee they will do it cause they know their investment in these H1B employees will make them huge profits. Without them, it's downhill cause American workers know how to retaliate and file lawsuits. While the H1B person is worried about getting the work done so they can continue to stay in the country. How many H1Bs do you know that have filed lawsuits against the company they work for? And how many American workers (in a union or not in a union) have filed lawsuits against the company they work for? Big tech will NEVER stop filing applications for H1B because at the end of the day it's all about shareholders and market growth.

@OP And look at the effect it has had when he raised tariffs to 50%. All countries are going around US and becoming trading partners. US will be left standing alone thanks to TACO. When TACO was having dinner with the high tech ceo's, why didn't he tell them that all their h1b employee visas are no longer valid and they have to replace them with american workers. But TACO couldn't say that to them, cause he's just as crooked as all those sitting at that table. If you don't believe me, take a look at Zuckerberg get caught on the hot mic when he asked TACO if $600 billion was the correct number TACO wanted him to say to the media and the world. It's all fake numbers coming out of their mouths. The fact of the matter is that AI is taking over jobs at a faster pace than ever before. Just look up, Saleforce CEO stating he was able to eliminate 4000 jobs and get AI to do those jobs. Why didn't TACO ask those Tech CEOs to stop making AI and give jobs to American workers, but he couldn't cause the is after all T.A.C.O.
