Got wind from AMER manager that its apparantly got to do with the minimum wage increase introduced by Egyptian government back in March of this year. Anyone else heard anything?

Nothing to do with the wage increase, the Egyptian minimum wage is peanuts, every Dell worker in Cairo would be earning much more.
Its just musical chairs, reducing Dell headcount and moving them to CapGemini as contractors doing the same work.
Someone told me it was 1% with most teams exempt.
Replaced by CapGemini is what I was told.
