Thread regarding AMN Healthcare Services Inc. layoffs

What is happening???

I just saw that Leah is leaving AMN after nearly 10 years. That’s a huge loss of knowledge and leadership.

Honestly, it makes me wonder what’s going on behind the scenes. Is anyone else feeling uneasy or thinking about leaving? Are there things happening at AMN that we should be aware of?

Not trying to stir the pot, just looking for honest perspectives from others here. She was the best thing that happened to AMN.

@OP her leaving wasn’t a loss. She was another mid level leader that didn’t contribute to the profitability of the company. Good riddance.

I worked there for 4 years, the beginning through the ending of COVID. It was cray, Susan was awesome. Cary, HORRIBLE! The moment she was brought on there were 4 massive Layoffs, 3/4ths of the company, GONE. Is Taryn Coates still there? She ran off 10+ Recruiters in RPO within a few months. So Did Marines Delgado... I heard most of the sourcing team has left... CANT imagine what's going on there now.

Cary has done a good job making sure she removes all true diversity from leadership huh? The company is a joke now. Who’s hiring?

She was the best thing that happened to that company. I am sure now that she is gone, that entire business is just going to go under. I’m looking for a way out before they lay me off too

I saw that-shes a great leader that cared, which seems to be those who are leaving. They’ll be left with empty yes people who create miserable working environments for their teams. I’m leaving without a backup plan in place. I’ve been with the company nearly 15yrs with nothing but GLOWING evaluations and multiple promotions. Things are really bad & leadership is trying to force people to take on multiple full time roles for no salary raise and you’ll be PIPd if you don’t reach the targets of both roles. I refuse to be put in a position like that. There’s some other really sketchy things happening-I can’t be too detailed because it will give away the department/division I work in, but it’s really bad. If your leader says there’s nothing happening, they’re LYING to you. Leave while you can. I have been job hunting for the past few months & haven’t had any luck, but my partner covers my salary so I am lucky to be able to walk away from this train wreck.
