@2c2 Good for you! Congrats! Poach the good people. If someone actually said “don’t let the door hit you on the way out” you know that’s not a company anyone would consider staying at! Crazy how under appreciated the staff are in some teams at adi.
I am about to leave soon. Secured a role 2 levels higher than my current position in a company more complex and well-known, overseeing an entire department. I haven’t seen my leadership and their favourites angry like that before, they shouted "Don't let the door hit you on the way out." They don’t know that I am poaching 2 of my colleagues on my way out and possibly many more in the following months… I am not close to these colleagues but I know they are from the group never plays politics which I highly admire & value.
Company is full of grumpy people who don’t show a basic courtesy and acknowledgment to their colleagues. As long as they get their paycheck, disrespect to others is normal for them. I am sure leavers found better places to go.
At least 2/4 i know got a better salary and their pots of gold
They went to companies where people do not only promote or support their mates.
Grass is not greener on the other side. Some of them have been jobless quite some time. I see that they are still looking for a job. A few could land a job.
2 sharp and really smart ones I know went to different industries getting promotions.

Some in sabbatical before pension, others will become coaches, others who could not learn German back to mummy.
