Yes as a member and an employee we see you. Thank you. Just a handful of these executives that are not worth the millions in salaries they are paid that toss and turn information and adding no value can go versus 100 to 200 of us who barely scratch the surface to hit that dollar amount. Don’t lay us off we do all the work day in and day out. Scratching our heads at these leaders who make our lives he-l and don’t care about the members. Keep it at the top and we will do the work all day!

I get everyone except Brandon Carter. Juan will bring in his buddies and we will start the cycle again. Yet, people like Debra Dunn will survive. Dave Cummings will keep spending his time on the speaking circuit ans all the other EMG will keep posting about their military base visits. The rest of us…well, we’ll just keep working while we wait to get laid off.
Wasn’t Juan on the USAA board for 4 years? Yes and he had oversight of the sh show and frankly needs to be held accountable for watching the ship get more holes. So yes let’s pick him to fix the mess now. Same old story, USAA was a great place to work now it’s just another company.
Does this mean that Gronk is gone?
So, strategy (term used verrrrry loosely) is in limbo while we wait to backfill these 4 roles. So about 13k employees (a third), plus contractors are working on stuff that now doesn't have a finish line. Half of that is run-the-operations. Even more, once Juan's cronies come in, that strategy will change. 6.5k of you are now doing throwaway work. They know it, but don't have the leadership to tell you to halt, and work on something else. Add to that, claims is still working on GWCC fixes and redoing their failed operating model. Clyde gets a seat closer to Juan? No wonder why the employees don't respect EMG. Bunch of clowns. At least you are getting paid.
I like your gesture, but went through enough CEO’s there to know nothing will change. He’s gonna bring in his friends and they will do the same.
They’ll gut and re-org areas to put their own flavor on what they’ll say is forward thinking, cutting edge, or transformative. It’s not.
Sure, we’re all happy to see Amala and the other cronies gone, but the leadership she put in place is still there and may or may not be changed.
Like I said, temporary dangle of the carrot before the next sh*t storm, so let’s enjoy the moment.
Thumbs up to this post! As a member we expect these values to be led by the CEO keep the work here in USA and stay true to the culture this organization was built on. Read the Pulse feedback leader by leader and look at the action plans they develop to fluff things up Juan WE SEE YOU
There were plenty of Complaints before this Member Value reorg. And now some of you are complaining after it.
I think the OP was trying to say “go ahead and get rid of some of these high paid execs that created the mess. But, don’t get rid of those of us doing the work”.
Maybe things will get better
Maybe things will get worse
What I do know is what was going on was NOT working!
This is stupid. USAA has lot of incompetent manager who promotes their friends! its stinks with nepotism and favoritism. They should fire AVP, ED's and VP as well. And some stupid Managers too
