Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Second interview with Xcel Energy. Bye bye Chevron.

Oh, by the way, they offered more. Best of luck in India.

Trump won't do that, all it takes to change is mind is to kiss his a-s and find a way to funnel him money. Corporations are in the best position to do this. We would need to band together and buy trump coins in order for him to make it harder to offshore, all he is doing is reducing H1b which just accelerated the move offshore.

It’s about time Trump does something about outsourcing jobs to foreign countries. This has been going on for years and he should have done this before the claim of returning manufacturing jobs to the USA. White collar jobs pay more and there is more disposable income to spend on stupid stuff.

The re-org may end up as a Harvard Business Review example of how to lose your most competent people, since those with options are quietly interviewing and moving on.

By sending the signal that loyalty and competence are unimportant, a plan meant to “unlock value” risks becoming a case study in how to hollow out your own company.

Right behind you. Have several applications going. I was stupid and had faith in the reorg, only to wake up and see they somehow made the problems worse. Can’t wait to leave this company that is simply living undeservedly on a reputation gained through competency that is no longer present.
