Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

Sep_Draft

Right-sizing is not about cutting back. It’s not about loss. It’s about clarity, focus, and positioning ourselves for the future. Think of it as shaping a high-performance team where every role, every resource, every process is aligned with where we want to go.

We are at a point in our journey where the opportunities ahead are huge, but so are the challenges. The market is evolving, customer expectations are shifting, and innovation is relentless. To rise to this, we cannot afford to be carrying structures, systems, or habits that hold us back. Right-sizing is how we unlock agility, speed, and strength.

This is about creating an organisation that is fit for tomorrow, not just comfortable with yesterday. It’s about ensuring that every person here is in the right place, with the right tools, doing the right work that adds the most value. When we do this, we don’t just survive change—we drive it.

And here’s the inspiring part: right-sizing is not about reducing what we are; it’s about amplifying who we can be. It’s about freeing up energy, capital, and creativity to invest in growth, innovation, and the things that really matter to our customers and our future.

Together, we will become leaner, sharper, and more resilient. Together, we will build an organisation that is not only successful but significant.

So let us embrace right-sizing as a catalyst—not for less, but for more. More clarity. More opportunity. More impact. More future.

Because this is not the end of something—it is the beginning of our next level. And we are going there together.

Thank you.

I can’t believe the draft. Are you serious ? So many dedicated people let go. So many who truly care about the company and truly care about customers. Yes changes need to be made! Let’s start with SF and McK consultants!! They need to go!! Keep those that really care about the future of this company before it’s too late!

This is how you really pi-s off the people that are actually keeping this company moving. Keep on pushing peoples buttons and see what happens.

Was this supposed to be some kind of inspirational message? These clowns can't even do that right. It's straight out of a mckinsey buzzword bingo game

How disgraceful and inconsiderate posting this, bunch of puppets - has this company really lost their moral compass! The rumour mill has been rife for weeks, people have been so anxious, let go and you post this representing a company that lets its ceo receive millions in bonus but cannot even get our share price to raise by $1 since joining - disgusting! This sounds like a Bob statement or Brian Pike. We need to cancel Stephanie!!

It’s like if a burglar robbed your house then wrote you a letter telling you how much better your life was going to be

This is a draft of the communication that SF will send out soon. It could be fake, but there is a comm being prepared for her to describe the next steps in our transformation, outcomes, rationale, etc.

Surely this has to be a troll messing with ChatGPT. Nobody could churn out such nonsense and expect to be taken seriously.

“…we are going there together.” Really? How much of a sociopathic a--hole do you have to be to write that in the middle of mass layoffs?

This is a joke, right? Are we seriously calling a toxic work environment, morale at an all-time low, and the remaining teams overwhelmed with no relief in sight, “inspiring right-sizing?” Call it what it is, poor executive management decisions and deflection of responsibility. Stop sugar coating things, relying on clueless consultants and take some accountability for running what was once a great company and supportive workplace into the ground.

Bet you are fun at parties. What a bunch of corporate drivel written by someone that isn't worried about losing their job or has a nice little golden parachute.

Inspiring stuff. Must be the result of screaming at your exec team after your actions caused the stock to tank 15%!! Thanks Mkinsey.

Does accountability include Stephanie, who after the latest earnings call and stock price drop, called all of her most senior leaders together on a call and shouted it was all their fault?

Reposting from another thread

Do you believe FIS will be better in the future?
are making good investment allocation decisions with the costs they are saving?
Does this exec team inspire trust?
inspire you to work hard?
inspire you to buy the stock?

This is 100% a copy-paste of a prepared corporate statement, probably put together by mckinsey. The title of this thread is 'Sep_draft'

if this executive team would get real feedback and not just mckinsey BS, they would realize that customers don't like the 'product,' seen in sales and keeping the customer problems

They say the same cr-p like this after every layoff. At what point will someone on the Board realize that it’s not the “ship” that needs fixing, it’s the leaders. Executive leadership and the BoD are failing FIS and its shareholders, plain and simple.

Wasn't that the whole point of Future Forward, which started in 2022 and moved the stock from $70 end of 2022 to $67 today? SLF failed - move her out instead of the 100s that worked their ** off for her bonus. Shame on her and the ELT.

Thank you.
