AT&T Breached Again: 🤦🏽‍♂️

AT&T seems breached again, the hacker is selling access to 24 million users' data – are you one of those?

If you've got $100,000 – but strictly in crypto – you could buy access to the carrier's infrastructure, the offering claims.

Is AT&T going to be sued and fined for neglecting its users' private data? Or is it going to settle to pay out compensations to numerous users again, like it recently did?

This could very well happen, if another AT&T breach occurs – and SOCRadar's Dark Web Team has come across a new listing on the dark web that advertises what is described as unauthorized access to AT&T's internal systems.

Dark Web Offers Exploits, AT&T Access, Ledger Scam Kit, and 100K Stolen Cards

SOCRadar’s Dark Web Team has identified a new wave of underground activity involving high-value exploits, access, and data leaks. Threat actors are advertising an alleged Android 0-day affecting versions 11 through 15, persistent unauthorized access to AT&T’s core infrastructure, and a dump of over 100,000 credit cards from multiple countries. Additionally, a new scam page targeting Ledger wallet users has been leaked, suggesting broader phishing campaigns targeting the crypto community.

Bitcoin recovery service- How to Recover Stolen Cryptocurrency

Have you been a victim of a cryptocurrency scam?
Unfortunately, thousands of people lose money each year to fake investment platforms, phishing websites, and fraudulent brokers. But the good news is that there are steps you can take to recover your stolen cryptocurrency.
Why Cryptocurrency Scams Happen

The rise of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other digital assets has created opportunities for scammers. They often lure victims with promises of huge returns or “guaranteed” profits. Once you send funds, the fraudsters disappear or block access to your wallet.

Report Cryptocurrency Scam

1. Report to Authorities
• Contact the financial crime unit or the cybercrime authority at ReportFraud_ftc@usa.com
• Report to global agencies such as the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) or Europol.
2. Notify Your Exchange or Wallet Provider

If you sent funds through an exchange (like Binance, Coinbase, or Kraken), immediately report the transaction.

3. Hiring a Crypto Recovery Service

is not advisable, as many “recovery services” are also scams. Only work with: ReportFraud_ftc@usa.com
WHATSAPP:   + 13235543592

Advanced forensic tools can trace stolen crypto through the blockchain. In some cases, this information helps law enforcement recover funds or block further transfers.

How to Protect Yourself Going Forward
• Always verify investment platforms.
• Never trust “guaranteed returns.”
• Use secure wallets and enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
• Educate yourself on common crypto scam warning signs.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve lost money to a cryptocurrency scam, don’t lose hope. While not every case leads to full recovery, taking the right steps quickly improves your chances. Always combine legal action, exchange reporting, and expert help to maximize success. Send all your proof to ReportFraud_ftc@usa.com

What do expect by having Wells Fargo and AIG leaders in charge of AT&T security--and supervised by a political science major in charge of all technology?

But they can make great daily reports on all the details of the hacks!

I use to work on the data center side and Tech Mahindra and Czech Republic IT have most passwords to the infrastructure so what could go wrong. They are getting paid peanuts compared to AT&T employees back here in the US, so some will would jump at the opportunity to make some quick cash. AT&T will eventually reap what they sowed in name of profits and greed, unfortunately the customers will pay the price as well for doing business with the company.

What happens when you layoff, alienate, and let the talent walk out the door. Also probably the biggest issue, they offshored all of this.

Part of the new AT&T guarantee is to have a monthly uncontrolled security breach.

Attackers claim to have live access to AT&T infrastructure, which essentially allows them to bypass two-factor authentication tied to a specific phone number. The hacker attack allegedly impacts millions of AT&T users.
Malicious actors announced their latest escapade on a popular underground forum, which is used to trade in data leaks and software exploits. According to the post, someone breached the American telecommunications behemoth, planting malicious software inside its systems for weeks without detection.
We’ve reached out to AT&T and will update the article once we receive a reply.

They fired the security expert on our development team because she didn’t live in the right state and wasn’t going to move.
She was never replaced.

Not surprised to see this happen, the executives of this company are bozos.

What happens when you RTO everyone and they stop caring.
Security is a function of diligence, when everyone is busy watching a clock, driving to the office, consumed with silly corporate compliance tasks, they aren’t paying attention to the little security flaws in the code or patching them.
They’re doing the bare minimum to get the check and go home, this is the culture Stankey created.

We will see more of these as time goes on.
