Was at this org in the mid two thousands. Worst environment I've ever seen. When I left on my own after 8 months, I was the 9th person to leave.
Upper mgt here are sc-mbags.

Leaving Oracle two decades ago was the best career decision I ever made. I moved to a company with a quickly growing market cap. Oracle has always been a layoff machine, replacing US workers with outsourcing and insourcing H1Bs and L1s.
I spent 12+ years at Oracle and I loved it. I was laid off yesterday, and it definitely su-ks, especially that they thrust the responsibility of messenger upon unprepared managers and VPs who are nervous and inexperienced at being laid off themselves. (My advice to any company is to use only people who have experienced a lay-off before as the messengers so that empathy is real.) Despite the poor messaging, I still hold Oracle in high regard and will look to find meaningful work that utilizes the rich experience I acquired at Oracle.
