By law we should have be given 90 written notice.
Some states also have similar laws and require payments to the employee.

I got one, California, Visual Builder, three weeks ago.
The WARN period will thankfully carry through till Oct.
If they pay you 90 day severance they don’t have to file WARN. That is the work around. I am sure the severance is generous.
oracle followed strategic layoff. one in Aug and one in sept. So they dont have to file warn. might add one in oct/nov
I'm sure legal and HR fine tuned the lists to circumvent WARN as much as possible.
In all sincerity, when I was younger and believed in the tech industry , or any industry for that matter, when one could truly believe in such as thing, a wise old man told a bunch of us that were in similar circumstance that "You don't get the virgin in the volcano by telling them what's going to happen next...." . True enough we were sacrificed so the company could 'earn' greater profits. Corporate altruism, if there ever was such a thing, died a very long time ago. Don't trust in it and don't believe the BS when you're told it.
Turns out it was great advice for the rest of my career. You'll be fine once you accept that. Gain the edge and use it.
Actually the requirement is when it is for a "single site of employment" and since so many people's work address is their home address, I believe they are well below the written notice threshold.
Some states it’s only triggered per a single location. More liberal states take into consideration overall numbers.
@OP Not enough per location to require WARN
