Be prepared for a steady stream of business unit outsourcing.
Can't do it too fast, so instead it will come one at a time.
Like most other companies, Intel is now moving to outsource all support functions, with the few remaining BB tasked with monitoring the outsource companies.
Even some fab and design functions will get this treatment, and by the end it will be much more clear who was actually adding value at the company.
Intel IT su-ked. I had to explain to them their own firewalls everytime we had a damn network ticket. They hide behind their ticket system with no accountability. The only thing worse than Intels IT is their Cybersecurity posers.
