pointing out that the wrong incentives being in place for our senior leaders have lead to poor mid to long term outcomes is not the same thing as calling anyone stupid or grandstanding.

Reading the sentiments of the commenters here you get the impression the only ones on the payroll who are able, willing and actually doing a good job are the commenters themselves. Everyone else is a slacker, inept or a j*rk.
Must be a heavy burden to carry knowing you’re one of the very few who truly knows how to effectively manage and produce quality results.

@f0 it might seem like all this playtime is unproductive circlej--king, but that's only because it is. But it also encourages people with different backgrounds who might otherwise despise each other because of the identity politics Shell itself inflames to socialize and work together. At least until the next MOR when management throws a kn--e onto the conference room table and walks out. Ahhh, mind games.

Shell's AI is already having catchups and GTKYs with employees. Especially with "leadership" who really love GPT5's ego st-----g. Soon AI will be emulating Shell behaviors like gifting tear jars as part of its discriminatory employment practices.

yep. 99% of india just expects to follow a set of steps and guidelines as their entire job

zero ability to handle deviations without a call to the US

they won’t make it in the AI era. you will need to be able to do things from nothing and resolve issues independently to make it. the articles about the impending outsourcing indian job firm collapse are already here.

I have to deal with your replacements everyday.

I’m not impressed.

They truly are clueless about the day to day operations of the units.

This will be short lived.

a new version of software developer and data engineer hybrid will manage AI agents which take over the Indian jobs outsourced from the US

this role will need to sit with the business as it is dependent on quick turnaround time and knowledge of data problems
