Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Don’t Lay People Off Without a Firm Plan

If it makes anyone who got laid off feel better, the plan and conversations to shift workload around to cover gaps has been haphazard at best and completely absent at worse.

Maybe if you didn’t have a plan on how you were going to reassign workload to tell people day 1 or 10 or 30 you shouldn’t have laid the people off doing the work…or at least waited a month or two to get a concrete plan and transition plan in place versus looking like amateurs, both inside and outside of the company…

Would like to feel sorry for you… but we (collectively) are the ones without a job going into the holidays and new year. Also, no one seems to be hiring, despite applying daily and many jobs posted. Looking for where I have an ounce of sympathy for those that still have a job…. I’ll let you know when I find it!

Hahaha...let's see...how would you feel if you have a family to support and you're told right before the holidays you don't have a job?! How about... I am great! Thanks Humana. You treat us like family!

I’m assuming you are the same person working for and/or backing corporate on all the posts.

If you don’t want to hear people complain then maybe don’t show up on the board. Or maybe just treat your people better.
