Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

What would you give up to wfh all the time?

A pay cut? Loss of benefits?

I have a few offers on the table paying less. Some have little to no benefits.

The math says i should stay here but its hard to put a figure for savings on things like mental well being, commute, and not being exposed to every single strain/wave of covid.

So my question is, what would you give to never have to go to the office again?

You’ll save on gas and time is money so it kind of depends on how long your commute is. I feel like everything is an hour away in Jacksonville when you factor in rush-hour traffic… I save approximately $240 a month in fuel and at least 10 hours a week in travel time.

The peace of mind I’m not having to go into the office five days a week is super valuable to most of society nowadays.

this is literally the post I want to post....

see how many hours you saved from commute X your current hours rate.
also depends on your total comp, if you make 150k - 200k +, those extra 30-50k really doesn't add much value I will say.....

I'm in a similar situation, but one of the offer is been on hold due : ) cross my finger.
