Your wish is my command,... master.
Most and not all American-born Americans at Fiserv are not smart and incredibly lazy to boot. Nobody cares for participation trophy recipients when work needs to get done for a company to run... the source of the true problem.
Do all of your comments involve an HBO series? Can you do "Treme" next?
Please!!!!
@cs Are you naive? HR is there to protect the firm while enforcing the workforce policies. Not to protect the workforce from national policy failures.
I don’t understand. Where is HR on this? Where’s the head of DEI on this? Or Is it only a problem when other groups are biased?
The outcome? They’ll hit small consulting firms—under 20 employees—with big fines. Most discriminatory job postings are offshore, so the U.S. government’s limited. Reforms are expected, but they need to happen before the next Congress, with high reelection turnover from redistricting and the nation’s mood. Big players stay untouchable, lobbying hard and spending billions, avoiding public forums. Like the 600K Chinese F1 visas, the administration will cut a deal. Racists will blame victims—it’s their thing. Ever watch Deadwood series? Makes you wonder why prospectors took such risks out West - because a legal path to a better life existed. And whatever they tighten will go to offshore. Financial flexibility is American companies’ dream. Consulting work force will provide that. If not offshore, they will consider near-shore like Mexico or LATAM. STEM education in the Asia is like spray and pray. For example they have 8.5M STEM graduates, in contrast with 850K in the US. So it is 10:1 Maths is in their favor. - Sad American, who is regretting the short term view of our economic policy.
Are you an American citizen who has been harmed by inappropriate preferences for foreign workers, eg H1-B or other? Follow the link. It’s also a place to report human trafficking of immigrant workers, and Title VII employment discrimination.
