Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

It's getting close to the end of the year and I'm still here

I was convinced I'd be long gone by now. This shows you just how bad the job market is. Despite my best efforts, over a year of searching and still nothing.

It's obvious nerves were struck with HR, MDs and Ds who are valiantly and nobly defending $hitibank's honour (It has None !) !

@1cs

The Potluck, or should they be called Fvcked Up, Dishes will definitely be famous.

How do you know if the Trojan Horses, employees who've been CitiFvcked Over, haven't put Laxatives or whatever in the food ???!!!

ROTFLMFAO !

The Svckers who eat it will be Sh!tting in their pants and on the Office Chairs! Hence, Sh!tibank !

ROTFLMFAO ! The media and news will have a field day! It truly is.....wait for it.......Sh!tibank ! 💩💩💩

ROTFLMFAO !

Something to consider before anyone schedules the next "Citi is too poor, financially unstable, to buy employees food (Not cheap dried up pizza) so we're doing a Potluck Svckers Lunch instead!".

Someone get send me some thick black glasses, electric shears, blue hair dye, and a pink pant suit so I can assume my rightful place as head of the TDS PAC committee.

@wc probably a derogatory reference to some form of spoken/written English that's native to English speakers from India but not commonly used in the US.

@qh

What does "kept well regulated" mean, native English speaker ??

In a Freezer or Refridgerator ?? ❄️☃️

And then there's the poster who keeps talking about the Bizarre "needful", whatever that means.

These words and phrases are Not quotidienne or conventional English.

@a5

Maybe it's because you have Sh!tibank on your resume/CV.

It's like having Madoff Securities Incorporated on your resume.

No one in their right mind will hire you even if you were one of the innocent lowly employees who got entangled in the quagmire other MotherFvckers created.

Just like the Bent Curved Red Stapler or D!CK above the word "Citi" in the Citi Logo !

ROTFLMFAO !

Very soon that Red Bent D!CK will be bent so far back it will break.

This is the sign that Citi is filing for Bankruptcy or ordered by the Regulators to execute RRP=Recovery & Resolution Plan, to get sold in whole or pieces! 😛😁

@qh The Red Stapler reminds me of the movie, Office Space. Art imitates life. The movie plot is similar to Citi's BullSh!t "Transformation".

Ensure your red stapler is kept well regulated.

Yep, job market is crazy.Recruiters/smart systems are not filtering resume if total experience is over two decades. Pay rates and compensation are horrible. So either stay in the current job or be open to take contract offers.

Job market is bad too many unemployed applying for jobs in which a third are fake. Stay employed and keep quiet. Outsmart them with your patience and play d-mb.

8 months of searching and some interviews a couple of which I thought went very well...nothing to show for it. Still here. Have never had such a long job search - not even during the 2008 market meltdown and I was very new then.
