Are you near retirement?
Are you bank / non-bank?
Are you EMG or non-EMG?
Are you full time or part time ?
How long have you been with the company?
Under a year? Nothing or negotiate.
Are you hourly?
Were you full time and now part time?
Are you on FMLA or recently off FMLA?
Do you currently have an open ethics case filed against your leadership?
Do you currently have an open ER case filed against your leadership?

All of these factors contribute to someone’s severance payout. Not including separate medical support outside of COBRA.

In the next week or two, P&C will get hit with layoffs. Enterprise news? They want to eliminate the 'Lead' title. Not the individual contributor role with 'Director' like a product manager. Their strategy is to overload the Lead into quitting. Leads, do not share your processes and tribal knowledge. You need to go into a protectionist mode. Copy what our B-team execs would do.

@eq I didn’t mean it in a rude way. But you’re about to get a dozen answers about a very personal answer where you can get direct answers from HR about your exact scenario. Just take the course HR is about to reach out to you and take it. As someone who’s been laid off and come back, it’s the most valuable course you can take.

Just go to the course from HR. It’s complex and different for everyone’s specific situation.

FSB- 26 week worth of salary or 2 week x Years worked; whichever one is greater is what you’ll get.

Enterprise- 2 week x Years worked. And a phone call from HR.
