My group is doing a small amount of hiring, but every time it's posted in Brazil, because we can pay them significantly less than we would have to pay an American.
Funny how we need to RTO to collaborate, but then we continue to hire people in a different country than the people who are back in the office.

That’s just your group buddy. It’s not a company policy to only hire from Brazil. Maybe ask your manager what the strategy is so you can play along also
RTO is simply Billy Boys way of trying to get people to quit without paying a severance. Collaboration is a myth. Sorry to say but Billy will learn how quiet quitting on steroids will offset any cost savings he thinks will come from this buffoonery. It's all about the stock price with this guy.
