0/10. Benefits used to be great. They are average at best. Seriously read our layoff.com then read SoFi’s. It su-ks here.

Y'all realize it was Wendy Salmon, head of SubTotal Rewards. She got her SVP title in exchange for decimating employee benefits and morale. An EC member was mocked for that hire - "that's the best USAA could do?". Common theme of VPs and higher since. Don't forget - the two year anniversary of Mike Moss. And the cold response/reaction from Wayne and Tamla. Their self preservation kicked in. No empathy. The new guard is the same. That's who you work for.
You do realize that the 'USAA Pension' isn't a real penson, and it replaces a benefit that was removed-- and the 'Pension' is worse than was taken away.
Don't sugar-coat what USAA has done to benefits- they're 'market driven' and are no better or worse than others at this point.
Benefits are not as good as they once were but they are still superior to the majority of companies. I wish I still had USAA’s benefits. I pay a ridiculous amount of money for insurance at one of the largest banks now. I only get 6% 401k match and it is capped at 12k. I don’t get a pension either. My severance will su-k compared to what USAA would do.
