Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

How does displacement package work?

My manger said people are getting 60 days. Is this in addition to the 2 weeks per year or just the minimum? Also, if you quickly find a job, is WF cutting off the severance or paying out to end? Love working here and hope I don’t get displaced.

This has been asked and answered over a million times. People still asking are the exact ones Wells needs to lay off. If you are too d-mb to find this info doing a basic search on this site or even teamworks you need to be displaced.

I refuse to believe these questions are being posed by real people who've been provided displacement packages. This has to be trolling

Be sure to steal all the coffee, office supplies and be sure to stop flushing before you leave.

The 60 day notice is separate than the 2 week per year severance. The 60 day notice could be working or non-working. Severance kicks in when notice period is up.
If you find another job outside WF, you will not get cut-off from severance. You will only lose it if you take another job within WF.
I hope things work out for you and you keep your job if you love it. Just remember, the only person looking out for you is you, no matter how great your manager is. If your manager get's displaced or moved then everything you planned together for career advancement or growth is gone. I loved my job at WF years ago, the last 5 were a complete 360.
