The deal was never on, its just another mikey manipulation to keep the shareholders stringing along like he did with the staff.

There's only one winner and its Mikey and his ex Accentures.

I wonder if this deal is still on the table? We many major tech companies laying off staff, would anyone be in their right minds to take on such a challenge at the current time?

When looking at the development of the share price it seems not many are convinced a take over of DXC is likely.

Everything is up for sale, including employees ? S's if you are sleeping at the wheels (which most dxc employees are).

the news story is a bit old - its from 5 weeks ago and there has been no update since (and the original story was 4+ weeks before this article) so either hard negotiating is underway or its all just a beat-up and private equity like ATOS have walked away because of the unrealistic price being asked

Not surprising. IMO, Mike S. was put in to break up the company. The old HP DC's are up for sale.
