Good luck! Sickness was rampant in the Hagerstown office last year. From June to October people were coughing so hard they sounded like they were going to throw up. It was disgusting! No matter how often you wash your hands you can't escape it when you are literally sitting on top of one another. Offsite senior management sitting in an enclosed office or working from home fully aware and DID NOT CARE!!!

Why would you need to work remote? I worked right up until the day before. No special accommodations, no remote, no workload concession but I was part of a tougher generation. People today are so weak, always expecting something for nothing.

Don't get pregnant, you won't afford it.

Document your request in writing. Follow up any verbal conversations in writing. Document EVERYTHING.

Firstly, congratulations! Secondly, have you checked the company manual? Why come here with this kind of question? Get the employee handbook and access the resources available on the AskHR page on FUEL.

You can file under the pregnancy workers fairness act. It takes time but once you submit you stuff to the 3rd party leave of absence Alight you should be fine. Under the PWFA you do not have to provide any medical access to them. They will ask but it is not required. A note from your doctor stating the need is enough. Just make sure it is on a letter head, dated and signed. It took a month for approval but the moment you submit you can legally start but since you are only 3 months I'd wait. You just inform you manager you are filing for accommodations, you are not asking.

@OP You must be another mediocre person. Why are you asking questions about policies and practices from a website that's not part of your company's site? D U M B !!!!!!
