HR jobs

I just heard that 90% of HR jobs are already selected. Pick 3 jobs is just a dog and pony show. This whole process has been awful.

HR should be slashed and more 1st and 2nd level managers should be eliminated in IT in the next layoff cycle.

HR has always been about “who you know” and bringing your favorites along. Look at RPs group. This next round have already and will select their friends.

The LT must have forgotten that they need the lower PSGs to do all the work that all these “Managers” are going to do. How quickly they forget that most of these folks struggle to read and create a basic analysis. I guess AI is gonna solve it. Best of luck to the new HRBPs and Advisors for giving up their work life balance.

I believe 90% of the job positions are pre determined in the selection process for all teams. There are more people than there are positions. It’s the “great layoff”, not just a reorganization.

I was in round 1 and a supervisor was very much talking to me as if I already had a particular job before jobs even came out to apply to. The job that supervisor was talking to me about was my not even among my 3 job choices but it was bundled with them. Guess what job I actually got. I'll give you a hint, it wasn't any of the 3 choices I chose.

Some folks in my group have been told they have a role months ago. Go figure.
