Hearing rumors they are making employees reinterview to keep their jobs here. Can anyone confirm if this is true and is there a grade level or title they are going after for this?

They essentially did this in Marketing a couple years ago when the new CMO joined. ML joined, he re-orged the group, put existing leaders into Interim roles, and had them essentially re-apply. Some stuck around, others weren't so lucky and cronies were pulled into those positions and here we are today. Some of us live to tell the tale ;)
This happens every few years within certain divisions, they do it to keep ideas fresh.
It’s senior people needing to re sell themselves to their leaders.
It does not involve low level managers or hourly employees.
This happened to a team in CBB about 2 years ago when leader retired and was replaced. New leader made everyone reinterview for their jobs. Out of a team of 8, 3 were retained. The rest were let go and new leader backfilled a few roles with people from prior company. It was a morale ki-ler for everyone. They let go long timers with years of experience and demonstrated loyalty and value add to CBB. That’s when I realized this place was a mess and doesn’t give a cr-p about their employees.
Have the entire MC reapply for their jobs, how many would make it?
In reality, if the MC applied for convenience store jobs, a lot of them wouldn’t make it.
I wouldn't pass and I don't care
d- baby
That would be yet another sh-t show and a complete failure.
Love it! Let's start from the top - Gunjan, you are up!
How does this work if so? Is it an HR professional doing this or manager?
That would be an incredible mess if true - I haven’t heard wind of that within MPS for reference.
