Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Feeling expendable

It looks like layoffs will continue until they hit their numbers, no matter who you are. Hard to feel valued when even critical projects seem irrelevant. Watching all this makes me wonder how the company is surviving at all.

Or they'll keep firing one here and there, so it doesn't look like layoffs. Looks good to shareholders. Hope a reporter is keeping track of the numbers. It's said what they will do to avoid bad press.

At this point I just want to valid and tangible information. They have said so much and absolutely nothing at the exact same time.

The anxiety from likely cuts with vague change talk is insulting and unhealthy year after year. Another pco townhall scheduled late october typically goes along with RIFs and another dig deep speech from people who could not care less if you lose income. Wonder if they will offer another round of early retirement option and go lower on the food chain to get more out?

We’re all expendable in corporate America. It’s sad.

Are you seeing layoffs in your area? I haven't heard of any yet.
