Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

So it was only IT?

Sorry to those impacted. I hope they find good jobs soon. And for all our sakes, I really hope they don’t offshore us into oblivion.

They won't go after Marketing until AFTER the Apple launch. We saw this in 2023. The only difference back then is that they told us it was coming in advance.

@ch The one filed last week is the IT employees that got let go. I'm one of them and that it also the number told to me during my layoff call.

@ch That would be the WARN notice for those who got pink slips last week. Their package gives them 60 days garden leave, followed by last day of work/layoff on 10/13. If there are more to be laid off, there will be another WARN notice.

A new WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) filing was posted on Friday, announcing that 121 employees in King County—across Bellevue, Bothell, and Snoqualmie—will be laid off beginning October 13. Unfortunately, the trend of layoffs continues. 121 doesn't include IT numbers from last week.
