HR Job symposium

I watched the symposium and you can see who the future HR leaders should be, just by their presentation skills alone. Obviously it was a script and some of them couldn’t regurgitate it back. I appreciated the last speaker in L&T. She was the only one to be honest about what she wanted and gave a fair description of who should apply. Others gave us nothing new. A few of the others literally read the description from the tool. No thanks, it was just as bland and generic out loud as it was online. You definitely helped me select who I don’t want to work for. Do better HRLT.

To the poster that questions by HR has a symposium, I think it’s because 40% of the organization is being cut and some teams 100% so there’s way more anxiety. And not all HR people are pieces of sh-t.EAP and the ombudsman is in there and there are some good HR groups that have helped with employee retention and growth. Those will probably be all the cuts

Yeah and pre recorded cos of the shambolic IT of the last Town Hall 🤣🤣🤣
Inscope notifications are due to go out this week and we still have no idea when or how we will receive them or from who.
In the UK its school holidays and public holidays next week, literally 30-40% of staff are on vacay, so having to break into their vacations to deal with this cr-p too.

Get used to a lean and mean culture. I can’t believe leaders with low CES scores were selected and some even were promoted. Way to go, HR!

Is the job symposium only for HR jobs? If so, why? As I understand anyone in Wave 2 can apply to any job that is 1 PSG above or below their current PSG, so why not send the HR job symposium invites to all?
