The RIFs are short sighted and will likely reduce our ability to deliver effectively for our customers. But Gail has been an effective leader compared to what we had. Before Gail our benefits were only being cut. PTO was cut. Holidays were cut. It is under her leadership that we have parental leave for example. Or paid leave to take care of family members. She added holidays. Before Gail we were trying to be a “fast follower “ and we weren’t fast. We believed because we were Blue we were better. We would have died on our antiquated vine. So I give her props for what she did but I think we need a change. She has run out of ideas.

Many people don't want to accept this, but I think @103+1k0j3epp6 is 100% right.

IT does su-k and is years behind our competitors. You have to ask yourself, who is responsible for outdated old technology? That would be the outdated employees working in IT!

Gail is as immoral and dishonest as they come. She has singled handedly flushed what was a great comeback under prior leadership. Gail gets aged strategies from Optum insight. She has sc--wed every employee and could a shut less.

The HT bots are out in full force today. UHC said thanks but no thanks. Under her watch PTO is capped, if the rumors are true remote work will be a thing of the past so we can be completely the Borg. As noted by another poster any CEO who has the one of worst disparity in regards to average employee pay should at least be trying to improve the working conditions. “Attitude reflects leadership “

Larry Glasscock talked to the employees, shook their hands, listened, knew how to grow business organically and increased AIP for the worker bees. Gail has zero integrity, selfish, and has driven this place into the ground. I agree she tried to make a mini Optum and horribly butchered everything in her way.

Gail is a used car salesman…our benefits and PTO have dwindled. IT has become a joke…nothing works or cross collaborates. She needs to resign. Larry was a breath of fresh air. All Gail has done is try to unsuccessfully create a mini Optum but their tech and DEF are light years ahead. Elevance will never catch up…there are too many duct taped systems and too many old market senior leadership that need flushed out.

Larry Glasscock had integrity, he was invested in his employees and he paid them well. Staff had the opportunity to go to conferences (hasn't happened in years) go outside the organization on work time to expand knowledge, PTO was not capped. You could easily roll over 100 hrs every year. Gail gave holidays - what wellness days, BFD 3 more days of paid time off and you are capped at 40 to roll over. Please don't compare her to an effective leader - she is a greedy power based person . Our systems don't work they are not user friendly and we "never have money for any upgrades" - does that make sense to you? No money?
