What is the rumor? Is this why they were holding off on the Houston moves and couldn't share much about it? Unbelievable how the location move can be life changing to some of us yet there is "again" lack of information on the relo.

Gotta love the self entitled CA employees as if Chevron owes them something, you want to stay with the company then move. If you’re ok moving on with the likelihood of a sell off then take your chances. Que the “I’d rather take my chances then move to Houston or Midland blah blah” it gets old.

Even if there is a possibility for a job in Houston, I am very hesitant to uproot my life and sacrifice everything for Chevron again and then just get laid off… In Houston in a year or two.

HR already came out and said if you were in any selection events in 2025 you would not be a part of any further events in 2026 .

2026 will be Innovation, the group formerly called CTV. It’ll be very small compared to 2025. If you were somehow out of scope in 2025, then 2026 is the year for you.
It is shameful how this reorg has been unfolding. Those facing a move have to make life decisions without knowing when the move is happening. What kind of ridiculousness is this? Of course they know but are purposefully withholding that info hoping that some will just EOI or leave even before Wave 2 completes. Meanwhile our cowardly CEO bought his luxury Houston condo back in June 2024, all while telling us to be EXCITED!!! to move into Lakeside. Fu-k that guy!

Yes, there will be at least one more round in 2026. HR is already aware and planning for it. The size and scope is unknown at this time.
