Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me

As I read MN’s obviously sincere and motivating message, I found myself relating to his wise words. Something “weighed heaviest on my heart,” too. That, esteemed colleagues, is the crushing weight of the endless piles corporate bullsh-t we are fed each and every day.

Doesn’t it just make you want to vomit when you keep reading and seeing video after video that remind us lowly worker bees that it is our responsibility to maintain a good safety record?

Yet none of these spineless weasels acknowledges THEIR roles in our current safety performance and loss of lives.

Perhaps MW & MN should be channeling a little TS, and publicly hold themselves accountable for changing our safety outcomes, ‘cause, you know, now they are all about accountability.

“it's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me”

Yeah, MN & MW, it IS you, it always has been YOU, and it will continue to be YOU fu--ing up this company.

Oh, BTW, somebody needs to tell MN to tone it down with the tooth whitening. That unnatural ultra whiteness in the video was nearly blinding.

@c5 no HR are the ones upvoting!! Hr are literally puppets of the leaders and have very little input into the decision making.
This post is spot on and hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

Someone on another thread compared MN to a Herbalife rep, and now I can’t unsee the comparison. 🤭 He certainly has as much (less?) credibility.

Hummm Sounds like someone is maximizing profits while playing russian roulette with safety...it all goes well until IT DOESEN'T ...THEN you get EXACTLY what BP & friends did in DEEPWATER HORIZON... resulting in a COLLAPSE of 70% in STOCK VALUE ... watch out ...

The whole purpose of the safety department is to protect the corporation from any safety mishaps. Therefore, since the company has safety programs, manuals, documents, procedures, inspections, etc., then any safety incident that happens must be the individual's fault. And management and safety reps repeatedly tell you that it must be your fault. The company will always try to shift the blame away in order to protect itself from lawsuits. It simply about dollars.

I am convinced HR has its minions downvoting this. No real employee would disagree with OP. The fact they are hating on the truth tells you how much they hate any hint of accountability. Cowards.
