He had a stint with OT after the ECD acquisition and led operations for a while before his departure in 2021. During his time, there were a number of challenges within Operations and a significant decline in delivery quality. After transitioning to Vonage in 2021, revenue peaked in 2022 then declined thereafter, roughly -5% YoY. So, the net of it is that Vonage was sold to Ericsson, the Vonage business declined, and Savinay jumped ship to OT. Not exactly the growth leader results that would impress anyone.

Maybe Vonage will acquire us so we will be a fax powerhouse!
💩 on the stick
We would do better if we stopped selling software and just opened a museum in Waterloo showcasing old obsolete software products. University students can learn a lesson on what not to do when running a software company.
@OP Told you all so!
It's absolutely astonishing that they made Savinay CTO.
I hope the new CEO comes in and gets rid of the entire ELT.
@e6 I agree. Hoping this is the case, that a new CEO comes in, a complete outsider, and sees right through the pack in there now.
He is a used car salesman. He’ll sell his own mother if it will advance his career. He’s incompetent, inconsiderate, and selfish.
All qualities mark loved hit mark is gone. Hoping Savinay follows soon.
Savinay and Mark were dating. Board found this out 2 months ago
Anyone handpicked by MB or his misfits is tainted. OT needs fresh leadership. Out with the old…
@op
"trust me". We know.
He landed and is accelerating but he should LISTEN first and then lead. It looks like he wants to prove that he can make a huge impact in short time. wrong company you can do that with a small startup . However, OT is a huge ship, which means it’s not nimble.
I hope the board will see-through his agenda. On the other hand, I don’t think the board will have the employees back.
You can tell by how he speaks he is not a master in engineering.
