Employees don't care anymore. They don't promote this business by word of mouth, if anything they discourage doing business with SF. Sad but true. Employees are no longer invested in the success of the company. It's simply a days pay for a days work. No extra anything on either side. The company has gotten so ridiculous you get your hand smacked for going over your work hours even if you are stuck on the phone helping a customer. Just hang up if your shift ends. What a joke.

@wd I was a TM in injury. I was given a memo for not meeting a deadline after coming back from a vacation. And no one helped my Q while i was out. So where is the SM accountability to make sure other TMs help?
Needless to say I make more as a CS with another carrier than i did as an injury TM at SF.
Yes, never tell anyone who you work for. Last time I did that I had to take an ear full about how horrible SF is. I could only say I agree and just work there. It's just a paycheck for sure. Slow walk everything you can and absolutely do not believe one single word that comes out of upper leadership mouths. I do feel for my TM as they have shared in private they absolutely hate this place and get threatened with their job regularly if they do not run out the lies and propaganda. They said Exec told them you are only here to execute our plans and not to question anything! Execs are pure incompetent trash.
@OP I had a coworker buddy who is now a TM always tell me, "it's just a JOB", no longer a career.
I remember the days when you were proud to wear branded apparel to lunch, golf or a gathering. Now, it's almost embarrasing to let people know you work for State Farm.
Damn shame having watched this downward spiral for so many years.
@s2: Stop digging
@k9 Look at all the racists upvoting stereotyping names. Diamond and Mercedes must be black; Cletus and Rufus must be white. LOL. It just goes to show everyone is racist no matter how much they protest they are not.
It's the only way they can justify their useless existence and scam bonuses as they fleece money out of a Mutual Company. Since SF became corporate led, you only have a handful of people with power and they only serve their best interest. Never have to deal with the consequences of their decisions. Top down leadership never works. Leave this toxic place as soon as you can. Do not put forth one single ounce of extra effort as you will only be rewarded with more work from some purple haired, nose ringed, neck tattooed, ADA accommodation, woke, preferred pro-noun, from one of the thousands of lazy employee that SF is hiring! This place is just a bad dream you never wake up from. Go Progressive!
Society overall is checking out and it is only going to get worse. I know I could give a sh-t less. The elites, at all levels and most institutions, have destroyed any decent quality of life for the vast majority. We are forced into sh-t holes cities like, Atlanta, Dallas and Phoenix where congestion, crime, wokeness and affordability is impossible. Most people are tired of fighting the system just to scrape by and make some as-hole narcissist CEO or politician rich. Corporations/SF think they can return to the 80, 90s and early 2000s and continue to run the corporate scam/rat race. One awesome benefit of social media is it exposes all their corruption, propaganda and constant lies to enrich themselves. They continue to cut benefits, mess with our pay, and every week they change to target to setup you up to fail. Always the next great thing around the corner. These people are genuinely soulless evil people and we can only pray they get their reward when they meet their maker. DO NOT take these people seriously and do whatever you can to protect yourself.
@fv: You have posted this trash multiple times. It's your way of lashing out at black people while maintaining your "but I'm not a racist" facade. Perhaps you could share some of your family names: Cletus, Wayleen, Jim Bob, Joella.....
@b0 yet you are so week and with no talent you cannot leave.

Be sure to sabotage anything and everything you can! State Farm Exec leadership is full of sc-m bags! I find new and creative ways to sc--w off every week! I bad mouth SF to everyone I come in contact with and know how to write a really "pretty" file note! Be sure to talk to your peers and spread the word!
Cheap offshore and externals in ET are far more experienced in niche tools and software. The worst amongst the worst are the ones promoted internally from a claims specialist position. They're great at speaking and know how to fight for promotions but are extremely inexperienced and use people just to finish tasks and get promoted.
This has been an ongoing problem in ET for YEARS. People without proper experience being promoted just because they talk. Its why a lot of capable people leave for better offers.
You are as nuts as M@rgo and the other executives if you think cheap off shore support is the way to go. They won't do anything on their own or think through anything. They strictly are follow the run book people. Barely able to keep the wheels on with a few of us that are leaving day by day. Next year you will really start feeling the pain.
This is exactly why all remaining employees should be outsourced.
What difference does it make if a workerbee lives in the USA, India, or the Philippines, other than the USA workers cost 4 times more for the same amount of output?
Save the company, get rid of high cost employees.
Hmm let’s see. As a recent hire that was promised all of these amazing benefits and a stable company with a good future, within 1 year I have now seen the following.
It is impossible to request pto. The learning resources to further my career were cut down to 1 course a quarter. They are cutting benefits from us. They are making health insurance more expensive. There is no flexibility whatsoever with the schedules. We are always understaffed. I was significantly misled about the duties of my role. The training was also misleading and is hardly relevant to my daily responsibilities. The people being promoted above me suffered in my role for close to a decade before they could advance. They are offshoring more jobs to different countries and are automating entire departments. They present this to us as if it’s a positive thing???
I have timed bathroom breaks (I thought only factories did this). Different lunch “hour” (45 minutes, what a joke) every day. The entirety of my department has no idea what’s going on. Team leads will simply say “ I don’t know, make a case” while a caller is screaming and threatening legal action on the other line. My entire day is fixing other people’s mistakes and being verbally abused about why our company is cancelling everything and why we’re so evil. My “metrics” and “kpis” are simply based on how long it takes me to do anything, which will be useless when I’m applying to new jobs at legitimate companies.
Maybe some of the reasons mentioned above are a clue as to why employees are checked out. Left a decent job to try something new here and it feels like I ruined my career with this dead end, joke of a company. The people that run the show here and are in charge of hiring are despicable.
That is good to know. The employees won’t mind being laid off then.
I'm as invested in the success of the company as the company is in us.
Actions have consequences and oppositional relations go both ways.
