Shalita Trasher V. Belk, 2022
plantiff Thrasher ( a belk associate) awarded $250,000 for being falsly arrested and accused for stealing from a Conyers, Georgia Belk store in 2021. Both the former store manager, and asset protection regional manager at the time were also sued.
@OP shouldn't surprise anyone. Belk AP has virtually no training and make tons of bad stops.
Not at surprised. Lots of complaints about Gadsden store on online. Building has black mold!
