Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

There was 1 decent leader left.......

Yes, I was Riffe'd, yes, then I took the ERP. When Japan arrived and Eric T. was dismissed in a day with a single generic email, I knew what the future held. I speculate of course, but I think he stood up to Japan and voiced his opinion which clearly didn't resonate well. If I've misspoken and someone has more knowledge than I please share.

Japan is a dynamic cio, he wants to act in swifter manner and the mid management are sluggish period…. Guess they knew they will be canned and pls folks who took early retirement dont crib - a more than generous package has been offered.i was not eligible due to age requirement. Eric T was pathetic he has his drinking buddies hired in vp and avp positions, wish they got canned too.

Japan is clueless. Humana keep hiring such incompetence to leadership positions. Crazy!

Japan as in Japan Mehta? At Citi, he took the wrong job and got canned for it and much of it wasn't due to his fault. Citi's data was cr-p way before Japan took over. When the last regulatory fine came around, Japan had been in the seat only for 5-6 months but became the fall guy - someone had to for 135 million fine. But, Japan is limited in his knowledge as he comes from a narrow focussed Analytics background and I doubt he has been exposed much to technology or data

What happened between him and whoever this Eric T was?
