There is no severance package in Canada. However it will be interesting to see how Cisco can explain to a judge why Cisco foreign workers work remotely to provide services to Canadian government institutions while being charged Canadian prices. That without looking at security and data confidentiality information.
It would be really risky for Cisco to do a massive layoff in Canada considering the current cross bordert tensions
