@aa I worked in one area for about 2 years where everyone did the same thing but their were 5 senior positions. If you asked what it took to get a senior position you were told a bunch of stupid sh-t. Been out of that department for awhile and got included on some emails and noticed that almost everyone had senior in their title now. WTF? How does that happen. It like the whole area did a 180. Why do you think they would do that? You think us had something to do with cr-ppy AIP? They are also regularly riffing people. Every couple months a person or 2 is riffed. I don’t get it.

@aa+ Oh, promotions exist, they just stay on the low down because a lot of the time, it has nothing to do with a person's work or skills. We have had people promoted in our department and it never announced because they don't want others asking to be promoted. We find out when we see the person's details change in Outlook. This is the first place I have ever worked where promotions in place are kept secret.
