Good! I'm a Singaporean employee and hope they layoff some here. So many stuck in the old way of doing things, prevent us from doing even better.
Was this a pretty blatant age based layoff? Seems so. Don’t plan on any job security at the company after 50 I guess.
@hj The reality is us old folks are helping the kids train their models, otherwise they are lost.

@g3 , interns can use AI tools better than the old folks. That’s what I have learned. In the future, we can use AI to produce HDD and run the company.
No idea, but many of long timers. All HAMR issues are completely solved and company can now be run by interns.
