Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Big day tomorrow. LR or no LR...

From what I have seen, very little hiring in FY25. So that might be good, maybe no LR. But on the other hand, heard folks who are fine earlier, are now on 'Below Expectations' in the latest review. Is this management asking all teams do do stack ranking, and force 1-2 into the bottom that are easy candidates to LR ? Who knows.

tons of hiring in enterprise sales in Q3 and 4 fy25. The most I’ve seen since Covid. It’s certainly anecdotal just like this post but this goes to show that it really depends on what org you’re in so don’t just assume everything’s bad or good based on what some other dude on the internet says

Cisco as a company has sc--wed up big time on employees morale and work ethics that is irreparable and there are no reasons to stay beside getting a pay check. Toxicity is so prevalent and outrageous.
